Publishing a Book

What kind of need do I intend to answer?

This future book is already part of the Book Club on this website. Its purpose is to analyze the logic of Zionism and how Western complicity undermines the very principle of democracy. By doing so, it addresses the need for a solid yet accessible understanding of the intellectual background that underpins Zionism, the democratic ideal, and its abandonment, respectively.

What makes my project/idea more particularly relevant?

This is not the work of an expert. Its relevance lies precisely in the fact that it goes beyond the commonly admitted complexity of the Israel-Palestinian conflict to address the logic of war that created that conflict in the first place. Its main topic is the ideological nature of Zionism, an angle of study that all honest citizens in Israel and elsewhere need to come to terms with.

What is the specific goal or result I would like to achieve?

Publishing this work in print rather than just online would allow, I think, to reach a broader public.

Which successive steps do I envision?

I have no clue. This is why I need a focus group. 🙂

Which particular aspects do I need help with?

All aspects of publishing a book, step by step, including finding an enthusiastic publisher.

Personal.

I look forward to discussing with the publisher whether to translate this work into other languages.
