Fortunately, more and more people are realizing that building societies where human enrichment and well-being prevail over GDP growth makes much more political, moral, and economic sense. You are likely one of them.
As concerned citizens, our challenge is to unite and mobilize so each of us can become, according to our particular goals and talents, an effective building block in the emerging global movement for a better future.
Organizations are indispensable but work in silos. By contrast, a movement grows transversally, and we all have a role to play in its informal network.
Building vs. Adding Connections
In the vastness of social media hubs, creating the steady conditions for connections to become fruitful is an endless, uncertain process if it revolves only around you. You need a shared interest to meet with others regularly.
In other words, you must provide a space where people can:
