Why guest-posting here?

Writing a genuine and well-built post that enthralls readers makes all the difference with a bland AI lecture. The difference also is that it undeniably takes time and effort. Doing it for someone else’s website is, for that reason, all the more worthy of respect, attention, and gratitude. This is why you should first know the specific advantages of guest blogging on this website.

The main one is that since guest blogging is reserved for community members (subscribing is free), you are almost assured of positive and constructive feedback from an audience of motivated people. Some may offer useful insights from their experience, and you can even create various groups with them on the website!

Visibility comes right after reaching the proper audience. Here is how things are dealt with on that front:

  1. Guest posts are systematically promoted in the newsletter.
  2. The website features the most commented posts at the top of the list. Quality is thus valued over quantity, allowing all authors to gain visibility regardless of how many guest posts they publish.
  3. Contrary to this website’s proprietary contents, guest posts are readable in their entirety by all visitors, not just members, increasing your chances of appearing on someone else’s social media network. 🙂
  4. You benefit from a neat author bio box where visitors can:
    • See your website’s address;
    • Send an email to your regular inbox;
    • Know what your most recent guest posts are.

Editorial line

Whether locally or globally, there are legitimate reasons to be concerned about the scope and emergency of political, economic, and environmental challenges. On One Home Planet, guest posts focus on the other side of that diagnosis: You are invited to provide solutions, inspire, and help people unite around something positive and constructive.

The world could function differently; guest posts’ editorial line is to show how. On that basis, your post can fall into one of three categories:

  • A story about a personal endeavor, the work of a particular organization, a book you read, or some good news from the other side of the world.
  • A specialized article that draws from your expertise in a particular field and offers a practical answer to a well-identified issue.
  • An in-depth personal reflection on basic principles regarding political life, the economy, or our relationship to nature.

All in all, share what makes you proud, happy, or energized!

Publishing requirements

Good practices

  1. There is no minimum or maximum word count. What is valued is a sincere tone and an honest form of reasoning.
  2. Your post must be an original piece and should not be published elsewhere.
  3. Avoid being overly promotional about personal achievements, your company, or an organization you may belong to. The body of your post may nevertheless include one link back.
  4. Always link to the source of any quotes, studies, or data you include (a link to one of this website’s posts will be greatly appreciated!).

Points to remember

  1. Your post needs a good, eye-catching title and a featured image (1200 x 630 pixels).
  2. Break up your text into different sections with subheadings.
  3. Once your main content is completed, add a lead paragraph at its very beginning to pique readers’ curiosity: Select the “Classic” block in the editor to insert text of no more than 300 characters (with spaces included) in bold. Place your cursor right after the paragraph (not below) and click on the “Insert Read More” tag
  4. The fields displayed under Novashare: Details at the bottom allow you to modify your post’s appearance on social media (your featured image and lead paragraph are otherwise used by default).
  5. To preview your post, click on the icon at the left of the Submit for Review button.

Author Bio box

To create your author bio box, log into the website. You will see the Network tab under Membership in the main menu. Click on it, go to Profile, and then Edit. Fill out the field titled Author Bio. Make sure to upload your profile picture. If you have a website, enter its URL in the relevant profile field.

Your author bio should be informative but concise, ideally 3-5 sentences. Write in the third person for a more professional tone. Aligning with Google’s E-E-A-T rules (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness) can enhance your credibility and relevance for search engine optimization.
